You may be interested in<\/strong>: Boluarte doubles salary by 125% and creates a scandal<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nIn the shared images, the president tours part of the destroyed facilities of the former El Front\u00f3n prison, which was closed during the first government of former President Alan Garc\u00eda (1985-1990) after a prison riot by terrorists that was controlled by the armed forces and left dozens dead.\n\nHowever, that old prison also housed political prisoners, such as former President Fernando Bela\u00fande Terry (1963-1968) (1980-1985) and Trotskyist leader Hugo Blanco in the 60s-70s, after having been a penal colony since the 19th century.\n\nDuring her visit to the island, Boluarte told the media that accompanied her that her government assumes that “firm and brave” decision of the construction of the El Front\u00f3n prison “in the shortest possible time”.\n\nHe added that this construction “will surely not solve the overcrowding” in the country’s prisons, and for that reason they are also looking for other spaces where other prisons can be built technically and legally.\n\n“In that joint work between ministries, the important thing is to do things, and do things well, but also in the time that corresponds to doing (\u2026).
