We didn’t play very good points, the first set was complicated, and we weren’t serving well either; the success percentage was quite low for both of us. I think I simply found the good position on the return and tried to make the most of the opportunities he gave me, which weren’t many,” Alcaraz said in on-court interviews.\n\n“I am very happy because in those points I played aggressive and very good tennis, which I really liked. Then in the second set I found a good rhythm and I just tried to maintain it,” he added.\n\nOn his way to the quarterfinals, Alcaraz has left behind the American Reilly Opelka (n.67), the Italian Mattia Bellucci (n.65), the Italian-Argentine Luciano Darderi (n.34) and the Frenchman Rinderknech, in that order.\n\n\n
