Santo Domingo. <\/strong>– With the presence of the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Pe\u00f1a, the 105th follow-up meeting to the Citizen Security Plan began this Monday to continue reinforcing safer environments throughout the national territory.<\/p>\n

The work session began at 10:11 a.m., after Pe\u00f1a arrived at the Officers’ Club Hall of the National Police Palace, where every Monday civil authorities, police, and military personnel review provincial statistics on security and crime reduction.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the vice president and other officials evaluate the assigned tasks, achievements obtained and the measures to continue guaranteeing the well-being of Dominicans.<\/p>\n

In the company of the vice president, are the Minister of the Presidency, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Paliza; of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, and of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Antonio Fern\u00e1ndez Onofre; the Attorney General of the Republic, Yeni Berenice Reynoso; the director of the National Police, Major General Ram\u00f3n Antonio Guzm\u00e1n Peralta, and the executive commissioner for Police Reform, Luis Ernesto Garc\u00eda Hern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n

Also, the president of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), Vice Admiral Jos\u00e9 Manuel Cabrera Ulloa, and the president of the National Drug Council (CND), Alejandro de Jes\u00fas Abreu; the director of Migration, Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester; of the Military and Police Commission (Comipol), Colonel Luis Rafael Herrera Almonte; of the General Directorate of Transit and Ground Transportation Safety (Digesett), General Pascual Cruz M\u00e9ndez; of the Tourism Police (Politur), General Minoru Matsunaga; of Internal Affairs of the National Police, General Werner N\u00fa\u00f1ez Quezada; of the School Police, Colonel Mart\u00edn Miguel Tapia S\u00e1nchez, and of Prisons, Roberto Hern\u00e1ndez Basilio.<\/p>\n

A commission of prosecutors participates in the meeting, including the one from the National District, Rosalba Ramos; from San Crist\u00f3bal, Ramona Santana; from La Vega, Aura Luz Garc\u00eda; from Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, Juan Antonio Mateo Cipri\u00e1n; from La Altagracia, Claudia Garrido; from San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, Suleyka Mateo, and from Duarte, Smaily Yamel Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n
