Santo Domingo \u2013 <\/em>Dominican Nasim N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/strong> had a historic night at Nationals Park<\/strong>, hitting the first two home runs of his career in Major League Baseball<\/strong> during the Washington Nationals<\/strong>‘ 10-5<\/strong> victory over the Miami Marlins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Nunez’s first home run came in the bottom of the second inning, a solo shot that extended Washington’s lead to 4-0<\/strong>. In the eighth, he hit it again, this time with a two-run<\/strong> homer that sealed the final score.<\/p>\n\n\nThe also Dominican Luis Garc\u00eda Jr.<\/strong> contributed two RBIs, while the Colombian Jorge Alfaro<\/strong> drove in another for the Nationals. For the Marlins, Heriberto Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> produced two runs and Agust\u00edn Ram\u00edrez<\/strong> scored one, but starter Eury P\u00e9rez<\/strong> took the loss after allowing seven runs in four innings<\/strong>.\n\n\n
