In an event led by Vice President Raquel Pe\u00f1a and with the participation of 103 national companies and companies from 11 countries, the third edition of Expo Acero Santiago 2025 was inaugurated, the most important fair in the steel and construction sector in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n
Pe\u00f1a highlighted that the event is a platform to connect, share experiences, make new business and grow existing ones, and that it also reflects the vision of a country that always seeks to take a step further to move towards a future of greater competitiveness and opportunities.<\/p>\n
Likewise, the vice president highlighted that the government headed by President Luis Abinader has found in this sector a strategic ally to boost productivity and growth, and in this process, Expo Acero Santiago becomes a key piece.<\/p>\n
Expo Acero will take place from September 5th to 7th at the Dominican Convention and Culture Center UTESA. It expects to receive more than 4,000 people, including professionals, technicians, students, entrepreneurs, and institutional representatives from the construction sector.<\/p>\n
Expo Acero is a regional platform that integrates the main players in the steel construction industry, promoting innovation, technical exchange, business networking, and continuous training. The 2025 edition promises to exceed expectations and break the records established in previous years.<\/p>\n
In the opening ceremony, recognition was given to Colombia, the guest country, for its contributions to the development of construction in Latin America, which was received by Dar\u00edo Villamizar Herrera, Colombia’s ambassador to the country.<\/p>\n
During the opening ceremony, Javier Dur\u00e1n paid tribute to the companies that have accompanied his professional growth and to the allies who believed in Expo Acero from the beginning, including Acero Estrella, CIMET Constructores, TADUG, INSTRUMET and, of course, Steeltec.<\/p>\n
“The city grows, transforms, and is recognized on national and international stages. Santiago is today an epicenter of opportunities, and Expo Acero is a concrete expression of that progress,” expressed Javier Dur\u00e1n.<\/p>\n
Expo Acero Santiago 2025 will present a comprehensive program that will include: an exhibition area for heavy machinery and equipment, with cutting-edge technology and interactive demonstrations; a Business Hub to facilitate commercial meetings between national and international companies; more than 30 technical presentations and specialized panels with national and international experts.<\/p>\n
In addition, the third edition of the Women of Steel Panel, which seeks to make visible the impact and female leadership within the sector and nightlife activities to promote professional networking and the creation of alliances.<\/p>\n
