According to figures from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bancentral.gov.do\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bancentral.gov.do\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Central Bank<\/a><\/strong>, in the last month the Dominican peso has depreciated by <strong>4%<\/strong>, while in the last year the loss against the dollar reaches <strong>6.3%<\/strong>.\n\nThe economist and Harvard professor, <strong>Juan Ariel Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, had warned since the beginning of 2025 that the currency could reach <strong>RD$65<\/strong>.
