<\/p>\n\n\nSan Juan (EFE).- The Puerto Rican Football Federation (FPF) announced this Monday that it signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement with the reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee<\/a> -now DY- and the company Multinational to continue developing the sport in Puerto Rico.\n\n\n

You may be interested in:<\/strong> Messi doubts whether he will play in the 2026 World Cup: “Due to age, the most logical thing is that I won’t make it”<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe agreement will be in effect for the 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 seasons, said the president of the FPF, Iv\u00e1n Rivera, in a statement.\nThe agreement seeks to generate a real impact through joint activities, direct support to the national teams and promotion of shared values between the Federation, the business sector and the sports community, explained Rivera.\n\n“This agreement reflects a shared vision: to drive the growth of Puerto Rican soccer from the grassroots to our absolute national teams, with the support of companies and figures who believe in the transformative power of sport,” highlighted the federation leader.\n\n\n

New Opportunities for Puerto Rican Soccer<\/h2>\n\n\nHe also indicated that the incorporation of DY and Multinational in this initiative symbolizes a unique synergy, combining business strength with the  cultural and sporting projection<\/a>, opening new opportunities for Puerto Rican football at the local and international level.\n\nWith this agreement, the FPF likewise reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive development of soccer in Puerto Rico, strengthening its structure and expanding growth opportunities for athletes, clubs, and national teams, the sports organization highlighted.\n\nIn addition, \u00a0DY, Multinational and the FPF<\/a>, both before, during and after the match between the men’s national teams of Puerto Rico and the world champion Argentina on October 13 in Chicago, (Illinois, USA), will kick off various joint activities that encompass this agreement.\n\n\n
