Read more: COE places five provinces on green alert for possible flooding<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nFor the afternoon and early evening, more frequent rainfall is expected, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and wind gusts in provinces such as El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Duarte, San Crist\u00f3bal, Peravia, La Vega, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, Santiago, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, Independencia, as well as locations in Gran Santo Domingo.\n\nHowever, in a large part of the national territory, mostly sunny sky conditions will prevail, with a gray appearance due to the presence of dust particles from the Sahara.\n\nThe COE recalled that the decision to lift the green alert is in accordance with the provisions of Law 147-02 on Risk Management, as the danger of rising rivers, streams and ravines, as well as urban and flash floods, has decreased.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
