Celesten, born in Guaymate, La Romana, signed in 2023 with the Seattle Mariners for a record bonus of $4.7 million dollars, the highest awarded by the organization in that international market. His profile combines speed, power, defense, arm, and game vision, the so-called “five tools” that every scout looks for in an impact player.<\/p>\n\n\n
Currently, MLB Pipeline ranks him among the top 25 prospects in all of Major League Baseball, highlighting his potential to become a future star.
