Washington.-<\/strong> The president of the United States, Donald Trump<\/strong>, promised this Wednesday that his administration will find those responsible for the murder of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk<\/strong> on a university campus in Utah.<\/p>\n\n\nIn a video posted on his social media, Trump assured that his government will “pursue the culprits” and preserve Kirk’s legacy, whom he described as “a patriot and defender of freedom of expression.”<\/strong>\n\n\n

According to the authorities, an armed man opened fire, possibly from a roof, and a bullet hit the activist in the neck, causing his death shortly after in a nearby hospital.\n\nThe suspect was apprehended hours later and is in FBI custody, which is investigating the motives for the shooting.\n\nCharlie Kirk, 31, was the founder of Turning Point USA, an influential conservative organization focused on university activism.
