Santiago.-<\/strong> The judge of the Permanent Attention Office of Santiago<\/strong>, Yerixa Cabral<\/strong>, ruled this Friday three months of preventive detention against the six men accused of sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman in Villa Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, recording the act and disseminating the images on digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\nThe victim’s lawyer, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ednez Brito<\/strong>, described the decision as positive, considering it an important step in the judicial process. The accused must comply with the precautionary measure at the Mao Correction and Rehabilitation Center.\n\nThe defendants are Jos\u00e9 Alfonso Rubiera Rodr\u00edguez (Fonso), Delfri de Jes\u00fas Rodr\u00edguez (Yiyo), Edwin Manuel Castro Guzm\u00e1n (El Guaro), Javier Eduardo N\u00fa\u00f1ez Toribio (Beb\u00e9), Oniel Rafael Pichardo Mart\u00ednez (Contreras) and Yamir Fernando P\u00e9rez Toribio (Ferrere).\n\nThe Public Ministry<\/a> had requested 18 months of preventive prison <\/strong>and that the case be declared complex, alleging the plurality of defendants, the possibility of including other responsible parties and the variety of crimes, including sexual assault, criminal association and sexual assault by electronic means.\n\nAccording to the indictment, the crime occurred last March<\/strong> in a residence in the community of La Javilla, Villa Gonz\u00e1lez, where the victim was taken under the pretense that she would be transferred to a health center by P\u00e9rez Toribio and another fugitive involved.\n\n\n
