This is also the 12th time in the club&#8217;s history that they have achieved that number of wins, remaining only six short of their historical record of 96, achieved in 2011 and 2018.\n\nPriester (13-2) worked 5.1 innings in which he allowed five hits and two runs, with five strikeouts and one walk, maintaining his usual dominance. The Brewers have won the last 18 games in which the right-hander has pitched, an unprecedented streak for a starter in the organization&#8217;s history.\n\nMilwaukee&#8217;s offense also responded in key moments. The hit, 432 feet to center field, was his &#8220;28th home run of the year&#8221; and the first since August 30.\n\nThe Cardinals, who scored two runs in the sixth, were never able to recover.
