Various pieces of evidence were presented in the process, including testimonies with which it was established that the now convicted person physically and verbally assaulted the victim, whom he also threatened with death and constantly pursued.\n\n\n

Salcedo Fern\u00e1ndez, Fran Euclides Soto S\u00e1nchez, Mar\u00eda G. Garabito Ram\u00edrez and Francisco Antonio Ortega Polanco, of the Second Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, overturned the part related to the criminal sanction and consequently conditionally suspended 2 years and 6 months of the imposed sentence, under rules established by the judge of the Execution of the Sentence of La Vega, warning him that if he does not comply with the imposed conditions he must serve the entire sentence ordered by the appealed judgment.\n\nThe Collegiate Court of the Judicial District of S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, through criminal judgment no. 963-2023-SSEN-00124, dated October 4, 2023, declared S\u00e1nchez V\u00e1zquez guilty of violating the legal provisions contained in articles 307, 309-2 and 309-3 of the Dominican Penal Code, as amended by Law no. 24-97, on Intrafamily Violence and against Women, for which he was sentenced to five (5) years in prison.
