Referring to the situation, Infante stated:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that training in homes is fundamental and warned that social networks have negatively influenced young people, contributing to the social breakdown that gives rise to this type of behavior.\n\nThe most recent case occurred in the Los Tres Brazos sector, Santo Domingo Este municipality, where five men voluntarily surrendered after being accused of the sexual assault against a 16-year-old adolescent.\n\nThe detainees were identified as Julio Jos\u00e9 Mateo (25), Brailyn Cepeda Ram\u00edrez (19), Harolin Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ednez (18), Omar Reyes V\u00e1squez (19), and Yoel Morrobel, alias El Matat\u00e1n, whose surrender occurred through a media outlet.\n\nSimilarly, in Santiago, a judge imposed 18 months of preventive prison as a coercive measure against six men accused of gang-raping a young woman from the municipality of Villa Gonz\u00e1lez, and declared the case as complex.\n\nThe defendants in this process are Jos\u00e9 Alfonso Rubiera Rodr\u00edguez (Fonso), Delfri de Jes\u00fas Rodr\u00edguez (Yiyo), Edwin Manuel Castro Guzm\u00e1n (el Guaro), Javier Eduardo N\u00fa\u00f1ez Toribio and\/or Javier N\u00fa\u00f1ez (Beb\u00e9), Oniel Rafael Pichardo Mart\u00ednez (Contreras) and Yamir Fernando P\u00e9rez Toribio (Ferrere).\n\nChemical castration is a subject of debate in the Dominican Republic; it is not an established or legal practice in the country, however, there have been legislative proposals to include it within the country’s penal code.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
