“They were days of concern, because an increase in the dollar rate can have a direct impact on everything we import. However, the decisions they made and the measures they implemented have given us a lot of peace of mind,” Pujols highlighted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe executive recalled that the rise in the dollar rate has an immediate effect on the imports of raw materials and essential inputs, so the rapid reaction of the authorities was fundamental to protect the stability of the productive sector.\n\n\n

You can also read: AIRD announces winners of Industrial Awards for 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\nPujols also referred to the Solid Waste Integral Management and Co-processing General Law Modification Project (Law 225-20), currently under debate in the National Congress.\n\nThe executive highlighted that the Senate took into account several of the observations made by the AIRD and other productive sectors, which is reflected in the most recent version of the legislative piece. Likewise, he recalled that President Luis Abinader announced, during a recent edition of La Semanal, that he would observe the bill and specifically mentioned some points questioned for reasons of competition.\n\n\n
