Bonds accomplished the feat in 1996 and 1997, while Bagwell did it in 1997 and 1999. Since then, no other player had reached such a level of offensive completeness, until Soto’s historic season in 2025.\n\nThe Dominican’s feat takes on a special meaning as it is his first year with the Mets, the team with which he signed a record contract of 765 million dollars for five seasons.
