This segment includes the installation of eight surveillance towers, 40 pipe and box-type culverts, as well as a lighting and fiber optic system to reinforce security.\n\nAccording to the report, seven kilometers have already been launched and 1.5 kilometers have been filled and compacted, while in about two weeks the construction of the trench and the formwork that will allow the pouring of the wall will begin. The minister highlighted that the efficiency in the management of the budget will allow the work to be extended between two and three additional kilometers without the need for extra funds.\n\nIn his speech, he also announced the construction of two strategic bridges, one 130 meters long and another 30 meters, which will be integrated into the wall as part of the road and security infrastructure.\n\nThe minister highlighted that this project is part of a comprehensive border modernization plan, which includes the installation of fiber optics in both the northern zone, as well as in Manzanillo, and in the southern region of the country, where work has already begun. This network will allow real-time connection with the State’s control centers, guaranteeing a more agile and secure surveillance system.\n\n\n
