You may be interested in<\/strong>: Abinader travels to the UN where he will discuss the crisis in Haiti<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\u201cIn recent years, there has been theorizing on the subject, the UN passes resolutions, the OAS passes resolutions, and none of that materializes, it seems like they are holding seances just to get by, but there is no will and decision to face with consequence the reality that the Haitian people are experiencing,\u201d<\/strong> Fulcar expressed.\n\nIn that order, the legislator supported President Abinader’s position to once again make an energetic call to the General Assembly, urging that concrete actions be promoted to allow Haiti to regain its institutionalism and find applicable solutions to its crisis.\n\n“That country can’t take it anymore, so we Dominicans are the ones who ultimately pay the consequences of what’s happening,” Fulcar warned, while highlighting the Dominican government’s efforts to safeguard national security and manage the burden that the Haitian crisis represents on Dominican territory.\n\nPresident Luis Abinader traveled this Monday to New York to participate in the UN General Assembly. His speech is scheduled for this Wednesday at noon, where he will present the position of the Dominican Republic before the main global challenges.\n\nAs on previous occasions, the president is expected to dedicate a central part of his speech to the Haitian crisis, reiterating the call for support from the international community and the urgency of effective measures to address the situation in the neighboring country.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
