\u2022 Trade union freedom.
\u2022 Neoliberal policies.
\u2022 Work and technology.
\u2022 Situation of migrant workers and the reality of working women.\n\nThe works of this meeting have been dedicated to the memory of Julio de Pe\u00f1a Valdez, recognized as the most important Dominican union leader of the last 65 years. The tribute takes place a few days before the 38th anniversary of his death, which occurred on September 17, 1987.\n\n\n
You can also read: Unionists claim Senasa is a workers’ achievement<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\nAmong the special guests at the event are the Minister of Labor, Dr. Eddy Olivares, and the director of INFOTEP, Professor Rafael Santos Bad\u00eda, along with other union, social, and political leaders of the country.\n\nThe National Preparatory Committee, which brings together dozens of organizations, highlighted the participation of the Unionist Classist Workers Confederation (UCT), the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP), the National Nursing Association (ASONAEN), and the Federation of Associations of Professors of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (FAPROUASD), among many others.\n\nThe organizing committee called on workers to enthusiastically participate in this meeting, which promotes unity and class consciousness in the trade union movement.\n\n\n
