For its part, the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewer Corporation (Caasd) reported that the Isa Mana and Duey 1 systems were impacted, affecting 404,978 inhabitants of the National District and Santo Domingo province.\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Damages by provinces<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa:<\/strong> landslide interrupted the main road, then restored.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>San Pedro de Macor\u00eds:<\/strong> tree collapsed at km 72 of the Autov\u00eda del Este.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monse\u00f1or Nouel:<\/strong> tree fell on the Duarte highway, km 65.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Independencia:<\/strong> flood swept away a sewer in Boca de Cach\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>San Juan:<\/strong> overflow of the San Juan River left Sabana Alta and Guanito isolated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Azua:<\/strong> 800 people displaced and 160 homes flooded in Los Negros.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Current Alerts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nThe COE maintains a <strong>red alert<\/strong> for the National District, Santo Domingo, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, San Crist\u00f3bal and Azua; a <strong>yellow alert<\/strong> for Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, La Altagracia, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, La Romana, El Seibo, Saman\u00e1, San Juan, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, La Vega and Monse\u00f1or Nouel; and a <strong>green<\/strong> alert for Barahona, Pedernales, Peravia, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Montecristi, Santiago, Dajab\u00f3n, Bahoruco, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, Espaillat, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, Valverde, Puerto Plata and Independencia.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Santo Domingo.\u2013 The intense rains of the last few days, caused by an active tropical wave and a trough, have left a balance of 2,555 people displaced, 511 damaged homes and 26 people in shelters, according to the most recent bulletin of the Emergency Operations Center (COE).
