Doctor Robert Nelson, with more than five decades dedicated to innovation and academic training in the United States, received the Award for Innovation and Medical Education. Likewise, Doctor Jos\u00e9 M. Garc\u00eda Sagredo, secretary general of the Royal National Academy of Medicine of Spain, was honored for his contribution to science and professional ethics.\n\n\n
Within the framework of the forum, the discussions highlighted the need for medicine that is closer to communities and a humanized approach to health care. Advances in clinical genetics, metabolic diseases, and genetic psychiatry were also discussed, as well as the challenges of evidence-based medicine in addressing global health problems.<\/h6>\n\n\nThe meeting included the participation of experts trained in institutions such as Harvard, Rockefeller University, and the National Institutes of Health of the United States, as well as representatives from academic and scientific centers in Europe and Latin America.\n\n\n
