Havana.- United States <\/strong>confirmed this Wednesday that for reasons of “national security”<\/strong> denied visas to several officials of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap)<\/strong> of Cuba who wanted to attend a meeting of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in Washington.<\/p>\n\n\nA State Department spokesperson told EFE in writing in response to a question that \u201ctravel restrictions imposed on representatives of the Cuban dictatorship protect the national security interests of the United States.\u201d<\/strong>\n\n\n
