After more than 18 years of athletic career, the Olympic athlete Beatriz Pir\u00f3n<\/strong> officially announced her retirement from international weightlifting competitions, leaving an indelible legacy for the Dominican Republic on the most important stages of world sport.\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\nPir\u00f3n, who represented the country in four Olympic Games<\/strong> (London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020+1 and Paris 2024), became the only Dominican athlete<\/strong> to achieve this feat. In addition, she won multiple medals in the Pan American Games, Central American and Caribbean Games, as well as in World and Pan American Championships, establishing herself as one of the most successful weightlifters in the history of Dominican sports.\n\nDuring his career, he achieved gold and bronze medals in the Pan American Games<\/strong>, gold and silver in the Central American and Caribbean Games<\/strong>, and dominated in international youth competitions, where he accumulated several continental titles.\n\n“Every drop of sweat and every effort inside and outside the gym were always for the love of my beloved Dominican Republic. Today, with the satisfaction of duty fulfilled, I officially announce my retirement from international competitions,” expressed Pir\u00f3n in his statement.\n\nThe weightlifter also thanked her teammates, the Dominican Weightlifting Federation, the Dominican Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports, the CRESO program, the National Police and, especially, her family for their constant support throughout her career.\n\nPir\u00f3n says goodbye, leaving a legacy of discipline, effort, and passion, and assured that he will continue to represent the Dominican Republic from any space he has to occupy.\n\n\n
