<\/h1>\n\n\nSANTO DOMINGO.<\/strong> The Tigres del Licey<\/strong> formally started the 2025-26 season of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM)<\/strong>.\n\n\n

You may be interested in: <\/a><\/strong>Tigres del Licey present their new uniforms for the 2025-26 LIDOM season<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nIn an event held this Monday, October 13th at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo<\/strong>, the 24-time national champions<\/strong> presented the pillars of their campaign, focused on the commitment, discipline, and responsibility that comes with defending the colors of the blue team.\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n“We know what the Tigres del Licey represent for millions of people, not only in the Dominican Republic, but anywhere in the world. Licey is the sports institution with the greatest national and international impact, and the more than two million followers on social media are a strong example of that reach,” said the team president during his speech.\n\nHe added that the five letters of the Licey<\/strong> symbolize a feeling of commitment that obliges the organization to continue working to fulfill the dreams of its loyal fanbase: to once again conquer the national championship.<\/strong>\n\nFor his part, General Manager Vicente<\/strong> thanked the support of the board of directors of the glorious blue team and officially presented the Baseball Operations Department<\/strong>, highlighting that the organization has formed “a competitive, balanced team with the ideal mix of experience and youth.”\n\nThe blue team’s base group is made up of experienced players and young prospects, including pitchers C\u00e9sar Valdez, Albert Abreu, Radham\u00e9s Liz, Jean Carlos Mej\u00eda, Jairo Asencio and Michael Arias<\/strong>, along with position players Emilio Bonifacio, Mel Rojas Jr., Francisco Mej\u00eda, Gustavo N\u00fa\u00f1ez, Domingo Leyba, Cristhian Adames, Michael De La Cruz, Ram\u00f3n Hern\u00e1ndez, Cristian Hern\u00e1ndez and \u00c1ngel Ortiz<\/strong>, among others.\n\n\n

Imported reinforcements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nTo strengthen their roster, Licey will have pitchers Paolo Espino, Cameron Gann, Nico Tellache, Ryan Watson, and Reiver Sanmart\u00edn<\/strong>, in addition to outfielders V\u00edctor Labrada<\/strong> and Griffin Conine<\/strong>, utility player Armando \u00c1lvarez<\/strong>, and catcher Christian Bethancourt<\/strong>. All of them will make up the imported player roster<\/strong> that will accompany the Dominican core.\n\n\n

News Beyond the Field<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nCommunicator and producer Josell Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> returns as the official host of the blue team, while the young Michael Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> joins the Licey’s pre-game show. Likewise, Miguel Arias<\/strong> will take on the creation of digital content for the TikTok<\/strong> platform, strengthening the team’s digital presence.\n\n\n

Press, Communications, and Public Relations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nThe Press Department<\/strong> will be headed by journalist Alex Luna<\/strong>, accompanied by Alex Rodr\u00edguez, Rosa Cuevas<\/strong> and Daniel Araujo<\/strong>. In multimedia will be Eduardo Smith<\/strong> (layout designer), Jafreisy Alc\u00e1ntara<\/strong> (audiovisual editing) and V\u00edctor Calvo<\/strong> (photography).
Social media will be managed by the agency Casmer Sports<\/strong>.\n\nIn Public Relations<\/strong>, the graduate Cynthia Morillo<\/strong> continues as director, along with Rosmeilys Mej\u00eda<\/strong> and Guaroa Ram\u00edrez<\/strong> as entertainment coordinator.\n\n\n

Transmission chain and official media<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nLicey’s games will be broadcast on free-to-air television<\/strong> by Digital 15<\/strong> and Telemicro Internacional<\/strong>, as well as by LiceyTV Channel 50 and 474 HD (Altice)<\/strong>, 1091 HD (Claro TV)<\/strong> and the official YouTube channel LiceyTube<\/strong>.\n\nIn radio<\/strong>, broadcasts will be available through Independencia 93.3 FM<\/strong> for the metropolitan area and the East, KeBuena 105.7 FM<\/strong> for the Cibao and 103.9 FM<\/strong> for the South region.\n\nThe broadcast team will be composed of the narrators Ildefonso Ure\u00f1a, Franklin Mirabal, Radham\u00e9s Gonz\u00e1lez, Jos\u00e9 Luis Montilla and C\u00e9sar Marchena<\/strong>; the commentators Fernando Ravelo, Tommy Troncoso, Rafael D\u00edaz<\/strong> and Alex Luna<\/strong>; and the commercial voices Welkis Ricardo, Santos Peralta<\/strong> and Fernando Custodio<\/strong>.
