“Five weeks ago we lost this champion. A leader who propelled the next generation like no other. He had many ideas in his head. Charlie is irreplaceable,” added Trump at the beginning of his speech about the activist murdered in Utah.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe medal was received by Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, whom Trump described as “an inspiring, beautiful woman” and told her that her husband “sacrificed himself for the country”.\n\n\n
