You may be interested in:<\/strong> Senator Lia D\u00edaz promotes priority works for Azua<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nDe los Santos valued the initiative as “transcendental” and announced that it will be placed on the Senate’s agenda to be sent to committee and subsequently known in the plenary. “We will give the appropriate treatment that a piece of this importance for national development deserves,” he said.\n\nDuring the delivery, Minister Bonilla explained that among the proposed changes is the creation of the Habitability Certificate<\/strong>, which must be renewed periodically according to the complexity of each building. \u201cThis will ensure that the structures are safe for their occupants,\u201d<\/strong> he said.\n\nThe official also indicated that the reform contemplates expanding the catalog of infractions and sanctions<\/strong>, improving inspection mechanisms and reorganizing the internal competencies of the ministry, to achieve a more efficient and transparent management.\n\nThe preliminary draft, submitted four years after the enactment of the original law, aims to adjust its content to the current demands of the construction sector and the urban challenges of the country.\n\nAlso participating in the event were the Vice President of the Senate, Pedro Catrain; senators Rafael Bar\u00f3n Duluc and Antonio Taveras Guzm\u00e1n; the legal consultant of the Senate, Alejandro Pe\u00f1a N\u00fa\u00f1ez; the Vice Minister of Habitat, Ney Rafael Garc\u00eda Rodr\u00edguez, and the Director of Communications of MIVED, Patricia Tolentino.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
