The initiative was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources<\/strong> and the San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel Educational Center of the Dominican Republic Army<\/strong>.\n\nDuring the activity, 800 mara seedlings<\/strong> were planted, a native species of high ecological value, as part of the institutional commitment to the restoration of hydrographic basins and the protection of water sources.\n\nThe event was attended by El\u00edas Figuereo<\/strong>, National Director of Reforestation; Licenciado Joel Feliz Ledesma<\/strong>, Provincial Director of the Ministry of Environment; Colonel Rodr\u00edguez Burgos, ERD<\/strong>, SENPA advisor; and Colonel Norman Tupete, ERD<\/strong>, regent director of the educational center, along with members of the SENPA’s Plana Mayor and invited students.\n\n\n

You can read: Heavy rains cause flooding and chaos in traffic in municipalities of Santiago<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nIn his words of motivation, the general director of SENPA expressed: “Planting a tree is a declaration of principles: it is to believe in the future, protect our water sources and honor the land that sustains us.”\n\nThe active participation of the students was highlighted as a symbol of hope and renewal: “You represent the new generation of environmental guardians. This day allows you to connect the uniform with nature, duty with life,” it was stated during the event.\n\nThe SENPA reiterated its commitment to the multidimensional security of the State<\/strong>, integrating the protection of natural resources as an essential part of its mission. Likewise, the collaboration between Environment, the Armed Forces and the education system<\/strong> was recognized as a model of legitimacy, ethics and collective vision.\n\nThe day concluded with a call to continue planting roots of respect, leaves of awareness, and fruits of well-being for future generations<\/strong>.\n\n\n
