Yermenos Forastieri to continue as a judge of the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE), nominating him before the National Council of the Magistracy (CNM<\/a>) for a new term.\n\nThe signatories highlight the professional and personal qualities of magistrate Yermenos Forastieri, emphasizing his academic background, integrity, responsibility, ethical sense, and commitment to democracy and institutions.\n\nIn their communications to the CNM, the proponents emphasize that the magistrate’s performance during the last four years has been “exemplary and a great contribution to the strengthening of electoral justice”, which is why they believe that his re-election would “give continuity to the excellence and accumulated experience” in the TSE.\n\nAmong the institutions that support its permanence are the Institutionalism and Justice Foundation, Inc. (FINJUS), the Juan XXIII Center, the Inter-American Union of Electoral Organizations (UNIORE), the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights (IIDH\/CAPEL), the Faculty of Juridical and Political Sciences of the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), the Testimonio Foundation, the Museum of Dignity, Inc., and the Senatorial Office of the Hermanas Mirabal province.\n\nAlso joining are the Dominican Republic Bar Association (CARD), in its sections of Santiago, Puerto Plata, La Vega, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez and Monse\u00f1or Nouel, as well as the UASD Lawyers Promotion 1980-1986, the Grand Lodge of the Dominican Republic, Inc., and the National Council of Evangelical Pastors Confraternities (CONACOPE).\n\n\n

Dom.
