Sometimes that is minimized,” he maintained, warning that political fragmentation often weakens government projects.\n\n“Speaking politically about the transformation movement, it is very important to remain united because when you divide, that’s when you lose strength with the people, with the people,” he added.\n\nThe leader did not mention Bolivian candidates or parties specifically, but her statements come after Sunday’s elections in Bolivia, amid the split between sectors of the Movement for Socialism (MAS), which governed under the leadership of Evo Morales.\n\nMexico has historically supported left-wing governments in the region, and Sheinbaum has reiterated her support for Latin American integration from a progressive perspective.\n\nThe future new Bolivian president, Rodrigo Paz, will assume office on November 8th to replace Luis Arce, of the Movement for Socialism (MAS), the party that has governed since 2006, except for the brief period of President Jeanine A\u00f1ez (2019-2020).","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
