The Vice Minister of Production and Marketing, Eulalio Ram\u00edrez, urged all agricultural producers, sector officials, and related actors to remain attentive to the information issued by the Emergency Center and to strictly comply with the protocols established by the Ministry of Agriculture, with the aim of minimizing losses and activating the corresponding preventive measures.<\/p>\n
The activation of the plan responds to the institutional commitment to safeguard food security and guarantee the continuity of agricultural and livestock activities in the face of extreme hydrometeorological events. The Plan establishes early warning protocols, inter-institutional coordination, and rapid response to reduce risks and damages in the eight agricultural regions of the country.<\/p>\n
Among the measures considered are permanent climate monitoring, the activation of regional risk committees, the dissemination of alerts through official channels, and coordination with organizations such as the COE, the CNE, and Civil Defense.
