Therefore, we will continue under a sky with considerable cloudiness throughout the day and night, generating heavy to torrential downpours, thunderstorms and occasional wind gusts, with greater intensity and frequency in towns located in the northeast, southeast, southwest and the Central mountain range, that is, provinces such as: Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, La Vega Monse\u00f1or Nouel, Saman\u00e1, Duarte, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Hermanas Mirabal, Espaillat, San Crist\u00f3bal, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, Monte Plata, Peravia, Azua, San Juan, Independencia, Bahoruco, Pedernales, Barahona, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, La Romana, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, La Altagracia, El Gran Santo Domingo, among others.\n\nOn Saturday, MELISSA would be moving slowly over the Caribbean Sea, gaining latitude while gradually strengthening, therefore, we will continue under conditions of high risk of severe sudden and\/or gradual flooding, as well as landslides over a large part of our nation, due to the rainfall that will occur for prolonged periods and of strong intensity in a large part of our territory that will be generating this tropical system.\n\nThe areas where these conditions will be most noticeable will be those towns located in the northeast, southeast, southwest and the Central mountain range, that is: Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, La Vega Monse\u00f1or Nouel, Saman\u00e1, Duarte, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Hermanas Mirabal, Espaillat, San Crist\u00f3bal, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, Monte Plata, Peravia, Azua, San Juan, Independencia, Bahoruco, Pedernales, Barahona, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, La Romana, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, La Altagracia, El Gran Santo Domingo, among others.\n\nNational District: cloudy with moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms and wind gusts.\n\nSanto Domingo Norte: cloudy with moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms and wind gusts.\n\nSanto Domingo Este: cloudy with moderate to heavy showers with electrical storms and wind gusts.\n\nSanto Domingo Oeste: cloudy with moderate to heavy showers with thunderstorms and wind gusts.\n\nTemperatures: the minimum will be between 21 \u00b0C and 23 \u00b0C and the maximum between 27 \u00b0C and 29 \u00b0C.\n\nSummary: MELISSA will maintain quite rainy conditions over the country in the coming days. Heavy to torrential downpours are expected, which will be more frequent in towns in the northeast, southeast, southwest and the Central mountain range.
