We are supplying 99% of the demand and we must recognize the effort of the managers, directors and all the staff of the distributors,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> declared Marranzini.\n\nThe official explained that the most affected areas were Gran Santo Domingo, Ban\u00ed, San Crist\u00f3bal, Barahona, La Romana and San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, where specific failures<\/strong> were recorded, although the majority have already been corrected<\/strong>. \u201cToday the system is totally stable, there are only small failures in some circuits still flooded,\u201d<\/em> he specified.\n\nMarranzini highlighted that the stability of the service was due to the fact that the CUED took precautions in advance<\/strong>, ensuring the inventory of cables, transformers and poles necessary to respond to any contingency. \u201cWe have had all the necessary inventory, and that has made it possible to quickly replace the damaged equipment\u201d,<\/em> he pointed out.\n\n\n

In response to a question from the program panelist about whether the high level of supply was due to lower demand because of the population’s confinement during the storm, Marranzini clarified that it was not. \u201cThe fact that there is less demand has nothing to do with the percentage of satisfaction.
