So don’t waste my time,” Obama declared at an event promoting her new book ‘The Look’.\n\nThe wife of former President Barack Obama (2009-2017) considered that people in the United States “have a lot to grow” on the idea of having a woman as head of state.\n\n\n

“Sadly, there are still a lot of men who don’t feel they could be led by a woman, and we saw it. I think we still have to grow in that aspect, and we can see how progress can be made and things can be taken away when it comes to taking our power as women,” she expressed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nMichelle Obama led some opinion polls to be the Democratic presidential candidate in 2024, when then-President Joe Biden (2021-2025) was considering withdrawing from the race, but the former first lady and her husband supported Kamala Harris, who was the vice president.\n\n\n
