In the document, the entity establishes that the team will be relegated to the <strong>LDF Expansi\u00f3n<\/strong> for the next season, in accordance with the provisions of <strong>Article 20 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code<\/strong>, which sanctions any form of alteration or corruption in official competitions.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Atl\u00e9tico San Crist\u00f3bal club is expelled from the Dominican League (LDF) 2025-26 and the first team is relegated to the LDF Expansion starting next season for violating article 20 of the CDF, after participating in activities related to match-fixing,&#8221; the communication states.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn addition, FIFA instructed the <strong>Dominican Football Federation (Fedof\u00fatbol)<\/strong> to coordinate with its office an <strong>educational prevention plan<\/strong>, aimed at combating match-fixing and reinforcing the integrity of competitions in the country.\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A New Crisis for the Historic Soccer Plaza of San Crist\u00f3bal<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nThe sanction comes amid one of the worst sporting campaigns recorded by Atl\u00e9tico San Crist\u00f3bal, who are <strong>last in the standings<\/strong> with just <strong>two points<\/strong>, the result of two draws and <strong>11 defeats in 13 matches<\/strong>. With each presentation, the club was extending a negative world record: the longest streak of matches without a win for a professional team.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Saturday, the team was scheduled to visit <strong>Moca FC<\/strong>, in what for years was considered a classic of Dominican soccer.
