Boca Chica.\u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The Minister of Culture, Roberto \u00c1ngel Salcedo, delivered the completely renovated Casa de la Cultura La Caleta to the community of Boca Chica, in an act that aroused the enthusiasm of the various community organizations that for years had requested the realization of this work.<\/p>\n\n\nSalcedo highlighted that the intervention of the property is part of the national program of recovery and enhancement of the houses that the Government executes to strengthen cultural life in the communities, in line with the decentralization policy promoted by the ministry.\n\n\n

“Our commitment is that every municipality in the country has a worthy space where its people can train, create and meet. Culture is a right, and we are working to bring it closer and closer to all Dominicans,” he expressed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe works included patching of interior and exterior walls, waterproofing of critical areas, application of general paint, reorganization of internal spaces and improvements in the bathrooms, interventions that allowed to restore the functionality, safety and a totally renewed image to the installation.\n\n\n
