This event was organized by the Nueva Generaci\u00f3n Duartiana, led by Jos\u00e9 Dom\u00ednguez and Pedro Pineda, who coordinated efforts with several local leaders to make this initiative a success.\n\nAmong the participants were the city&#8217;s mayor, Brett Smiley; Senator Ana Quezada; Councilman Juan Pichardo; Providence Police Chief Oscar P\u00e9rez; and Colonel Sonni Cepeda of the Dominican National Police, liaison in New York and Providence. Together, they worked to ensure that many families, especially from the Dominican community, could enjoy a special meal during this celebration.\n\nThe station la mega 94.9 FM in Providence covered this event.\n\nThis event not only reflects the leaders&#8217; commitment to the well-being of all residents, but also highlights the importance of the Dominican community in Providence.
