The objective of Edenorte’s Distribution management is that, before December 24, the main roads of the Cibao are completely illuminated.\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\nIn Santiago de los Caballeros, the head municipality and economic hub of the Cibao, the brigades are carrying out intensive work on the main road corridors, including the Duarte Highway, on Estrella Sadhal\u00e1, Hispanoamericana, Bartolom\u00e9 Col\u00f3n, Rafael Vidal, Luper\u00f3n avenues until starting the Tourist Road, Yapur Dumit, Circunvalaci\u00f3n Sur, Antonio Guzm\u00e1n and February 27.\n\nThese points concentrate shops, residential areas, parks, squares and service centers, so the lighting will directly impact safe mobility and the Christmas atmosphere in the city.\n\nThe operation also extends to all municipalities and municipal districts of the province, including Navarrete, Tamboril, Villa Gonz\u00e1lez, Sabana Iglesia, J\u00e1nico, Pedro Garc\u00eda, Las Palomas, Pu\u00f1al, La Canela, Hato del Yaque and Santiago Oeste, where work is being done on the main avenues and the accesses with the greatest citizen flow.\n\n\n

Mao: Weekly operation at the city entrances<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\nIn the province of Valverde, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, Montecristi and Dajab\u00f3n, Edenorte executes an operational calendar, focused on urban entrances and the verification of lighting on access roads, where the most outstanding intervention is in the municipalities of Mao, Esperanza, San Ignacio de Sabaneta and San Fernando, where technicians inspect circuits, replace and correct luminaires.\n\nThe workdays take place both during the day and at night, and are part of a plan aimed at strengthening the lighting of those areas before the festivities.\n\n\n

San Francisco de Macor\u00eds and the Northeast: Fully Lit Regional Corridors<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\nIn Duarte province and surrounding municipalities, the operation covers all exits and inter-municipal corridors, including the main road of San Francisco de Macor\u00eds, such as Libertad Avenue, and from Tenares to the exit to Nagua, also Presidente Antonio Guzm\u00e1n Fern\u00e1ndez Avenue, to Cenov\u00ed, the exits to Villa Tapia, Las Gu\u00e1zumas and Jaya.\n\nWhile in the municipality of Pimentel work was done on the exit to San Francisco, exit to Castillo and Independencia street, in Castillo on the exit to Las Taranas, and Olegario Tenares street, in Villa Riva on 27 de Febrero avenue, exits to Arenoso, La Verde and El Abanico, in Nagua the works were carried out on the Nagua\u2013Cabrera road, Matancitas, Prolongaci\u00f3n Col\u00f3n and Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez and in the municipalities of Cabrera, R\u00edo San Juan, S\u00e1nchez and Saman\u00e1 the main exits were intervened, highlighting that it is one of the most extensive operations due to the high interprovincial and tourist flow of these routes.\n\n\n

La Vega, Moca and Bonao: urban centers and mountain roads included<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\nIn the province of La Vega, the brigades have intervened the Duarte Highway (La Vega\u2013Moca and La Vega\u2013Bonao). They will work in the town center, the Federico Basilis road towards Jarabacoa, the Juan Bosch road towards Moca, the Joaqu\u00edn Balaguer road (La Vega\u2013Guaiq\u00fc\u00ed) and the Rivas, Garc\u00eda Godoy, Imbert avenues and the El Ri\u00edto Linear Park. Meanwhile, in Jarabacoa and Constanza, their urban centers and mountain roads such as Manabao, Jos\u00e9 Dur\u00e1n\u2013Pedregal and El Carmen are being intervened. The intervention of the section of the Highway from the Cruce Controba \u2013 Jima Arriba is also contemplated.\n\nIn Moca, the work will cover the Ram\u00f3n C\u00e1ceres highway, Moca\u2013Licey, Las Lagunas, El Mamey\u2013Villa Trina, and the entrances to Guauc\u00ed and La Sirena, as well as the municipality of Gaspar Hern\u00e1ndez and the Joba Arriba and Veragua area.\n\nWhile in Bonao, the works will be carried out on Libertad Avenue, Duarte highway, Aniana Vargas Avenue, Circunvalaci\u00f3n, July 12th highway and Central street\n\n\n

Puerto Plata: Tourist Corridors and High-Traffic Roads<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\nIn the province of Puerto Plata, the Lighting Operation is advancing in phases: which includes the work in progress in the municipalities of Montellano, Imbert, Villa Isabela, Guananico, Mamey Los Hidalgos, on the Puerto Plata\u2013Navarrete Highway, Puerto Plata\u2013Gaspar Hern\u00e1ndez Highway and in the districts of Cabarete, Estero Hondo and Sabaneta de Y\u00e1sica.\n\nFor the coming days, work is scheduled in the municipality of Altamira, in the communities of Y\u00e1sica Arriba and Las Navas, highlighting that these interventions are a priority because they are tourist routes and productive areas.\n\nThis general Edenorte operation has several pillars: citizen security, a functional lighting network that reduces accident risks and facilitates police patrols, visibility and nighttime mobility, since in the Cibao the commercial and social activity increases drastically in December, which demands adequate road conditions and above all Christmas atmosphere and beautification, since the lighting provides a warmer and safer image in streets, parks, entrances and urban centers.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
