The hit traveled 368 feet and exited at 101.2 miles per hour, tying the game and igniting the red fanbase.\n\nIn the ninth, the current national and Caribbean champions completed the comeback. A walk to Erik Gonz\u00e1lez and a double by S\u00f3crates Brito put men in scoring position with no outs against Burch Smith. Next, a ground ball inside the infield by Lake towards first base could not be handled by the defender Arturo Disla, allowing Gonz\u00e1lez to score the winning run.\n\nStephen Nogosek (1-0) earned the victory after quickly retiring the three batters he faced in the ninth.
