Abu Dhabi, UAE.<\/strong>\u2013 British driver Lando Norris<\/strong>, from the McLaren team, was proclaimed this Sunday new Formula 1 2025 world champion<\/strong> after finishing in third position in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last race of the season held at the Yas Marina circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Australian Oscar Piastri<\/strong>, Norris’ teammate at McLaren, finished second to seal a resounding result for the papaya team.\n\nWith 26 years old, Norris becomes the eleventh Briton to conquer a Formula 1 world title<\/strong>, managing to dethrone Verstappen himself and closing the championship with 423 points<\/strong>, just two more than the Dutchman and thirteen above Piastri.\n\n\n
