{"id":493981,"date":"2025-12-08T23:37:22","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T03:37:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/sntp-santo-domingo-este-branch-requests-a-higher-advertising-budget-for-press-workers\/"},"modified":"2025-12-08T23:37:22","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T03:37:22","slug":"sntp-santo-domingo-este-branch-requests-a-higher-advertising-budget-for-press-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/sntp-santo-domingo-este-branch-requests-a-higher-advertising-budget-for-press-workers\/","title":{"rendered":"SNTP Santo Domingo Este Branch requests a higher advertising budget for press workers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Submit a formal request to the Council of Aldermen of the local Mayor&#8217;s Office<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<strong>Santo Domingo<\/strong>.- The National Press Workers Union (SNTP), Santo Domingo Este branch, has taken a firm step in defending the labor rights and economic sustainability of its members by formally submitting to the City Council the request that a majority portion of the municipal advertising budget for next year be allocated to the media and press workers residing and working in that demarcation.\n\nThe request, which seeks a fairer and more equitable distribution of advertising resources, was delivered to the main blocks of councilors, including the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), and the People&#8217;s Force (FP), as well as to the President of the Council of Councilors.\n\nThe SNTP Secretary General, Dar\u00edo Ma\u00f1\u00f3n, pointed out that the request seeks to correct a historical injustice. &#8220;For years, the mayors have allocated most of the advertising budget towards media and interests of the National District, to the detriment of the quality of life of our colleagues.
