Vatican City – Pope Leo XIV<\/strong> warned this Tuesday that seeking a peace plan for Ukraine without involving Europe in the negotiations “is not realistic”<\/strong>, following criticism from US President Donald Trump of European partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I believe that Europe’s role is very important and that the unity of European countries is truly significant, especially in this case,”<\/strong> the Pope stated to the media upon leaving his residence in the Roman town of Castel Gandolfo, where he received the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
