If they manage to secure the first position, it would be their first regular season lead since the 2012-13 season, when they finished with a 32-18 record.\n\nThe Estrellas took the lead in the first inning with a run, but the yellow response came immediately in the second episode, when Elih Marrero hit a triple that tied the score against the green starter \u00d3scar de la Cruz, who worked two innings and a third.\n\nJean Carlos Henr\u00edquez pitched two scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, to earn his second win of the season without a loss. After a strikeout, Alberto Rodr\u00edguez hit a double to right field to produce the tie-breaking run. Immediately afterwards, Jerar Encarnaci\u00f3n drove in another with a single and Aneury Tav\u00e1rez added one more with a hit against reliever J.P. Woodward.\n\nThe Eagles extended their lead in the fifth inning with two additional runs, both driven in by infield hits.
