The boy died as a result of the injuries,” specified the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) on Telegram.\n\nAccording to the Telegram channel Baza, the teenager, armed with a knife, with a medical mask covering his face and a t-shirt with the inscription ‘No lives matter’ – in reference to the civil movement in the US ‘Black lives matter’ -, attacked his victims with tear gas and after murdering the fourth-grade schoolboy took a ‘selfie’ next to the victim’s corpse.\n\n\n

Now there are more than a hundred here. We prepared the place for their stay, we offered them water. Now panic is spreading among the parents,” commented a source from the sports center.\n\nThe police managed to arrest the attacker, who is currently being taken to the police station, without the hostage suffering any harm, according to the local directorate for the Moscow region of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.\n\nBaza identified the teenager as Timofei K., a fifteen-year-old schoolboy who was in the ninth grade at a nearby school and who has admitted the facts during an interrogation, according to the CIR.\n\nThe motive for the crime is unknown at the moment, although photos of the teenager with Nazi symbolism are circulating on social media.\n\nAccording to the Telegram channel 112, the young man recorded on his mobile phone all the preparations for the attack and, in addition to tear gas and a dagger, carried other weapons, including a homemade bomb.\n\nSeveral witnesses indicate that he told a teacher that he would soon be arrested and encouraged her to read on Wikipedia what he was about to do.\n\nThe governor, Andrei Vorobyov, and the children’s rights ombudsperson of the Moscow region, Ksenia Mishonova, called on the media not to disseminate images of the crime, some of which are extremely bloody.\n\n“I want to address the journalists in particular: before publishing the videos of the scene of the tragedy, it is important that you understand if this has any relation to your work and that this is a violation of the laws that causes additional pain for the victim’s family,” he wrote on Telegram.\n\nMish\u00f3nova described the publication of the video as “inadmissible” and accused those who disseminated these images of a lack of ethics.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
