The 24-year-old pitcher recorded an ERA of 2.06, with 57 strikeouts in 48 innings spread over eight starts.\n\nHolmes, who served as a reliever during his first seven seasons in the Majors, successfully transitioned to a starter after signing with the Mets before last season. In his new role, he compiled an ERA of 3.53 in 165.2 innings pitched.\n\nFor his part, Joe Ryan, ace of the Minnesota Twins, was called up to the All-Star Game in 2025 and surpassed the 190-strikeout barrier for the second time in three seasons.
