“We do not agree with interventions (\u2026) and we are in favor of the peaceful resolution of conflicts,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThis, he added, “beyond the government of (Nicol\u00e1s) Maduro in Venezuela,” because he stated “that is another issue.”\n\n“The central theme is interventionism and interference,” he stated, without debating the situation in Venezuela due to criticisms of Nicol\u00e1s Maduro<\/strong>, whose victory in the 2024 presidential elections has been questioned by numerous countries in the international community.\n\n\n

Mexico Still Has No Role in the Conflict Between the U.S. and Venezuela<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nThe president added that, in the event of a dispute, “there are all the mechanisms established by the United Nations for a peaceful solution to any dispute. And all parties must participate,” she affirmed, emphasizing that this has been “Mexico’s position for a long time.”\n\nHowever, he clarified that, so far, his Government has not received requests to lead multilateral efforts, nor has it established communication with any other Government for this purpose.\n\n\n

“We have not received any particular request (…) we have not received any formal request,” he pointed out, although he noted that there is communication through the Secretariat of Foreign Relations with Venezuela.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nHer statements come after this Wednesday the Mexican president urged the UN to “assume its role to avoid any bloodshed and always seek the peaceful solution of conflicts.”\n\n\n

Without a doubt about the support for Cuba<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nOn the other hand, regarding another crucial topic for the American agenda, the President of Mexico stated that the relationship between her country and Cuba “has always been a difference” with the United States since 1959, although she maintained that this disagreement “does not have to influence” the bilateral relationship with Washington, despite the criticisms of President Donald Trump.\n\n\n
