However, most refused to talk about the subject, expressing fear of possible reprisals.<\/p>\n\n\nDespite the insistence that their answers would be anonymous, many preferred to remain silent. Some mentioned that &#8220;it&#8217;s a sensitive issue&#8221; and that they prefer not to get involved, while others simply said they didn&#8217;t feel comfortable giving their opinion on the matter, even though they were outside their country.\n\n&#8220;No, thank you, my country is Venezuela and I don&#8217;t want to comment on this.&#8221;\n\nThis reaction reflects the level of sensitivity that still exists around the Venezuelan political climate, even in exile.
