In exchange, she allegedly received bribe payments totaling approximately $142,507.\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You may be interested in: <a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/internacionales\/estafar-con-falsas-visas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">19 suspects arrested for scamming with fake visas<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\nThe scheme included the participation of family members and other co-conspirators, who illegally received unemployment benefits and subsequently transferred part of the funds to Garay-Osorio&#8217;s bank account, according to the indictment.\n\nThe former employee faces multiple federal charges, including conspiracy to steal federal funds, honest services mail fraud, money laundering, and aggravated identity theft.
