Ban\u00ed.-<\/strong> The Perell\u00f3 Cultural Center celebrated the arrival of Christmas with a majestic symphonic concert, held in partnership with the National Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of maestro Jos\u00e9 Antonio Molina.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Christmas Concert, in its twelfth edition, brought together prominent Dominican artists such as Maridar\u00eda Hern\u00e1ndez, Frank Ceara, and Xiomara Fortuna, the latter as a special guest, along with the Koribe choir, who offered a musical evening of approximately 80 minutes to a select audience gathered on the esplanade of the Cultural Center.<\/p>\n

The night began with a repertoire of traditional Christmas songs with symphonic arrangements, including “Overture a Cradle in Bethlehem”, “Silent Night”, “Joy to the World”, “Jingle Bells”, “White Christmas”, “The Christmas Song” and “Mariposa de amor”.<\/p>\n

The program also included pieces such as \u201cAdeste Fideles\u201d, \u201cO Holy Night\u201d, Villancico Yaucano, \u201cElla\u201d, \u201cYo quiero verte\u201d, \u201cAy amor\u201d, \u201cPopurr\u00ed de merengues\u201d, \u201cSalsa p\u00e1 tu lech\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cAlegre vengo\u201d and the emotional \u201cAleluya\u201d from El Mes\u00edas, which closed the night with an ovation from the public.<\/p>\n

The protocol act was headed by Manuel Pozo Perell\u00f3, executive president of Industrias Banilejas, SAS (INDUBAN) and member of the Council of the Perell\u00f3 Cultural Center, accompanied by Julia Castillo, director of the institution.<\/p>\n

During his welcoming remarks, Castillo highlighted that this twelfth edition of the Symphonic Christmas Gala Concert reaffirms the commitment of the Perell\u00f3-Abreu Family, who after 15 years of cultural patronage in the Southern region and throughout the country, continues to bet on a more prosperous, cultured, and humanist Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

For his part, Manuel Pozo Perell\u00f3 emphasized that this concert represents a firm commitment to the community of the Southern region, especially with the province of Peravia, by facilitating access to high-level artistic shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are bringing this concert to Ban\u00ed with the same artistic and technical quality as the great stages of the world,\u201d he affirmed.<\/p>\n

The activity was attended by the Minister of Culture, Roberto \u00c1ngel Salcedo; Senator Julito Fulcar; Mayor Santo Ram\u00edrez; Governor \u00c1ngela Yadira B\u00e1ez; as well as deputies Luis B\u00e1ez, Willy S\u00e1nchez and Carmen Leyda Escarfuller, among other personalities from the cultural, business and diplomatic fields.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
