His best campaign came in <strong>2023<\/strong>, when he established himself as a key piece of the New York bullpen by recording an <strong>ERA of 2.64<\/strong>, with <strong>69 strikeouts in 58 innings<\/strong>, a whiff rate of <strong>34.6%<\/strong>, and a ground ball percentage of <strong>56.0%<\/strong>.\n\nIn the following two seasons, the right-hander&#8217;s performance was mainly affected by injuries. During <strong>2024<\/strong>, Hamilton was out of action for nearly three months due to a <strong>strain in his right side<\/strong>.
