These deposits come from savings accounts, checking accounts and time deposits.\n\nThe financial system has total deposits worth RD$1.783 billion, of which RD$1.026 billion are from men, representing 57.57% of the deposits, and RD$756.810 million belong to women, representing 42.43%.\n\nAt the beginning of the year, total deposits were RD$1.643 billion, so in the first 11 months of the year they increased by RD$140 million.\n\nNovember 2024, total deposits amounted to RD$1,570 million, resulting in a year-on-year growth of RD$213 million.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, the Central Bank defended the strength of the national financial system, explaining that during the course of the year 2025, total assets have increased by more than RD$343,000 million, reaching RD$4.19 trillion (52.6% of the gross domestic product), according to the latest information available as of November.<\/p>\n\n\n&#8220;The growth of assets has been supported by public deposits, which have reflected the increase in public deposits in national currency, which have increased RD$189,000 million (9.0%) to reach RD$2.27 trillion (28.5% of GDP); while public deposits in foreign currency have totaled more than US$14,500 million, representing 11.9% of GDP and 31.5% of the estimated flow of foreign exchange generation of the Dominican economy, which could exceed US$46,000 million in 2025,&#8221; detailed a report from the Central Bank.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The average balance of deposits in the national financial system for the male gender is RD$157,929 and for women is RD$111,214.
